Vishal packs in an ebullient Latin feel in Jee le - the meandering, unconventional tune working big way. The balladic title song has Vishal’s stamp all over - lyrics that defy convention and an extremely pleasant tune - the Vishal-sung version trumping with interesting vocals. Saiyaan is as massy Vishal can get, Sunidhi pitching in incredibly amidst the amiable rhythms, while Phatte, despite the obvious Punjabi flavor, is not only so un-Vishal’ish, but is also completely corny. Dil dhakda hai is a free-flowing torture, however. U Me aur Hum’s soundtrack is a curious mix of the mainstream and the abstruse.
